The phrase "Think Globally, Act Locally" was reportedly coined by Friends
of the Earth's founder David Brower in 1969. Whoever it was that first put
those words together, there's no doubt that the strength of the
environmental movement derives from people doing just that.
Whether it's
rainforests or recycling you're passionate about, joining RTFoE will enable
you to make a difference locally and globally. So send us an e-mail or come
along to one of our meetings, we'd love to have you on board.
Membership costs £ 7.50 per annum and entitles you to receive our newsletter INFOE which comes out two or three times per year.
We will also mail you occasionally about campaigns and events. Join our yahoo group to recieve news on what is due to happen at our monthly meetings and get information about days of action and other events.
If you are interested in joining you are welcome to come along to our monthly meeting on the last Thursday of every month except December. We usually meet at Langton's Bookshop, 44-45 Church Street, Twickenham, TW1 3NT
